Sunday coffee at Toronto’s Distillery District during the Christmas Market. Lots of fire outside around the breweries, stalls for buying knickknacks, carolers and a carousel; but nothing beats that perfect moment when a rich dark bowl of coffee combines with an almond croissant, crowds of happy people fresh in from the snow, children peering through the grated windows, and Leonard Cohen singing Suzanne. Who cares about shopping? Fun to have that link with Stratford, too–alas poor Yorik, we brewed him well. Shakespeare loved puns, so do we–especially combined with grammar jokes!
