Fast failure–slowly, part two

Fingers.

I knew a man who had lost a few fingers in a carpentry accident. He described the moment to me on Front Street by the St Lawrence Market. I can vividly see the surface of the sidewalk, the post box on the corner.

It happened, he said. There they were. Taste it! Schmeckt!

He got invited to speak to students in carpentry programs.

Someone’s fast failure can make good learning for others.
